I really can’t believe what some computer places do: One client From Overland Park brought in a Sony laptop. She had just had work done on it somewhere in Kansas City, KS. They charged $100 just to look at the machine. Then they charged $250 to replace the power jack. 24-hours later she brought it back to them because it stopped turning on, again. They were going to charge another $100 to look at it. She brought it to us. The only problem with the computer was her power cord. For $36 everything was fixed. Whenever you take your machine anywhere make sure you understand their guarantee. Also try to talk with them long enough to make sure they appear that they actually want to help.
